BABY GEAR RENTALS

Security deposit

​Some of our products may require a security deposit, which will be requested at the time of making the reservation.

Upon collection of the rented product, and once its condition has been verified to be satisfactory, the security deposit will be refunded.

 

Photos

The photos of the rental products that BUDDY displays on its website or any other platform may or may not represent the actual product available for rent. If you would like a photo of the specific product currently in our inventory, you may request it directly via whatsapp.

 

Use of the products

BUDDY is not responsible for any misuse or improper use of the products by the user. It is the user’s responsibility to supervise any minors who use and enjoy the products during the rental period.

BUDDY shall not be held responsible for any claims made by the contracting party and/or user resulting from the improper use of products purchased through our platform. Each product, at the time of purchase by the User, will be accompanied by instructions for use and/or a user manual so that it can be handled safely and correctly. It is the user’s responsibility to read and follow these instructions to ensure the proper use, operation, and preservation of the purchased product.

The user is responsible for notifying BUDDY if they receive a product that is damaged or in poor condition. We therefore recommend that the user inspect the product at the time of delivery at the address provided.

BUDDY reserves the right to refuse service to any person who, whether intentionally or by omission, provides false or incomplete information that could compromise the safety of the service provided. Likewise, BUDDY reserves the right to refuse service to any user who has previously purchased products and/or services from BUDDY and has failed to comply with the Terms and Conditions set forth herein.

 

The user is solely responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to any rented product, regardless of the cause, during the rental period. All products must be returned in the same condition, quality, and state in which they were received.

If a product is returned dirty beyond what would be reasonably expected, an additional cleaning fee may be charged. If a product is returned with evidence of vomit, excrement, or a cigarette odor, an additional deep-cleaning fee may be applied for each item.

 

If a product is returned damaged, an additional repair fee will be charged.

 

If a product is lost, stolen, not returned, or returned in a condition where repair is not feasible, the user will be charged for the full market value of the product, plus any taxes and shipping costs incurred by BUDDY to replace it.

 

If any cleaning, repair, or replacement fees apply, BUDDY will notify the user and may apply the security deposit partially or in full to cover such charges.

Cancellation

The customer may cancel the purchase of the service within 24 hours from the time of purchase. In the event of cancellation, the full amount paid by the customer will be refunded.
